About AABI

What is AABI?

Established in 2002, Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI) is an international nonprofit association that focuses on building incubation ecosystem in Asian-Pacific region.


Our mission is to promote business incubation activities among business incubator, client companies and other related organizations in Asian-Pacific region, to encourage core incubation business between different Asian incubators, to support ambitious Asian tech-SMEs innovate and go internationally.


Considering the diversity of Asian-Pacific countries, this mission is in no way easy. BUT, we are committed to it!

Who are AABI Members?

Originally constituted by 9 founding members from 8 countries and regions (including Korea, Singapore, mainland China, India, Malaysia, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong), AABI now develops into a large community which includes 23 Association Members and 40 Incubator Members from 19 countries and regions.


Apart from the wide coverage, AABI members are also diverse in their institutional roles. Our member portfolio now comprises maker's space, business incubator, accelerator, science park, as well as coordinating association and policymaker in incubation system, etc.
